S-LINK Products
S-LINK is a fast but simple point-to-point data link interface developed by CERN for LHC and other experiments. The first successful S-LINK implementations based on serial optical links were developed by CERN and Wigner Research Centre of Physics (former KFKI-RMKI, Budapest). S-LINKs are used in a large number of scientific data acquisition systems throughout the world. (See References.) S-LINK interface cards can now be ordered from Cerntech Ltd. Technical support is available through Cerntech, Wigner RCP, and CERN.
